CHATOM, AL — Washington County hosted its annual job fair at the civic center in Chatom, connecting job seekers with local and regional employers.

Over 37 employers participated, offering positions in manufacturing, healthcare, education, government, and skilled trades.

The event was organized by the Washington County Economic Development Office in partnership with AIDT, Alabama's primary workforce training agency.

Job seekers had access to on-site interviews, resume assistance, and information about training programs.

Organizers said attendance was strong, reflecting both a healthy job market and the community's interest in career advancement.

The next job fair is tentatively scheduled for the fall. Details will be posted on the county's website.
