MILLRY, AL — A two-vehicle collision on County Road 47 in Washington County sent 4 people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Friday.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. when a pickup truck failed to yield at an intersection and was struck by a pickup truck traveling eastbound.
Emergency crews from the Washington County Volunteer Fire Department and local EMS responded to the scene within minutes.
ALEA troopers are investigating the cause of the crash. Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors at this time.
The roadway was temporarily closed for approximately two hours while crews cleared the scene.
This marks the sixth traffic accident reported on County Road 47 this year.
