MILLRY, AL — Students from McIntosh High participated in Washington County's annual Career Day at the Career Technical Center.

The event featured representatives from manufacturing, forestry, healthcare, law enforcement, and energy.

Students toured exhibits and learned about education and training pathways for various careers.

Several employers from the McIntosh chemical corridor highlighted the need for skilled workers.

Career Day is important for students in rural communities where career exposure may be limited.

The event is organized by the School District in partnership with the Economic Development Office.
