LEROY, AL — McIntosh High School baseball captured the county championship with a 10-3 victory.

The game came down to the final inning with a bases-loaded single for the winning run.

The pitching staff allowed just 2 runs across three tournament games.

The championship is the first for McIntosh baseball in several years.

Head Coach credited senior leadership and consistent practice.

The team will now prepare for the regional playoff round.
