Federal investigators will review the trucking company's safety record, driver qualification files, and vehicle maintenance history. The driver's ELD data will be analyzed for potential hours-of-service violations.

The driver, a 28-year-old Virginia woman, was transported to Southwest Alabama Medical Center in Thomasville in stable condition. A second vehicle was damaged but its occupants were not injured.

The truck was carrying refrigerated goods. Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.

Under federal law, trucking companies can face significant fines and operational restrictions if safety violations are found. The investigation is expected to take several weeks.
